About Me

thepunkrockmom: Washington, United States; So to tell you a little bit about myself, I am 28, the mother of 2 awesome kidlets and I'm married to the most amazing man I have ever met. We are so proud of him as he serves our country in the Air Force. We live in beautiful Washington State and have a wonderful life here. We miss our friends and family who are spread across the US, but we love that God has blessed us by placing us in this gorgeous place. I consider myself a 'Jane-of-all-trades.' This could also be read as completely bonkers! I have my BS in Elementary Education from USF St. Pete(Go Bulls!), I'm currently in school learning medical transcription, and am hoping to be able to start a simple Photography program some time soon. I have one stay at home job, training for 2 others, I just opened my own Etsy shop, and now I'm launching a blog! Whew! My therapist may consider this manic, but I consider it productive! :) I do consider myself a punk rock mom, even though I may not look it most of the time. This is because I believe that being punk rock is more of a state of mind instead of a state of wardrobe. Don't get me wrong tho, I pomp my hair and rock my Converses when I get the chance! ;) Happy reading! :D

Just to clarify before we get rolling, this is not a religion or political blog.

I say this up front because I like to freely talk about my spiritual side. And I also like to start non-partisan discussions about what goes on in the world around us.

However, ALL moms of ALL religious and political backgrounds are welcome to be here and and share about your religion or political views in your comments. This blog's main purpose is to bring together punky moms who want to bond and lift each other up! So if you post about religion/ politics, I ask you to please keep it respectful. And you are more than welcome to share your views if you wish! I will always respect your views even if you do not respect mine so please keep it kind. :) (Posts that attack others will be quickly removed at my discretion.)

I love Jesus and follow Him daily. But I'm not here to preach. Jesus was the Teacher and if you want some good preaching I recommend that you check out his best seller:)
